Here are the End of Key Stage 3 Teacher Assessment Levels for the school year 2010-11.
When students reach the End of Key Stage 3 (usually at the end of Year 9), schools have a statutory responsibility to report the overall subject teacher assessment levels to the government and to parents. Teacher Assessment is the final level of progress that teachers think a student has achieved by the end of the Key Stage. You will notice that there are no levels recorded for Science. This is because Science finished the delivery of Key Stage 3 at the end of Year 8 so Teacher Assessments for Science for our current Year 9 students were recorded and reported last year.
You will find two reports. The first one shows the percentage of students within the school who have achieved each Level for each subject listed. The second report is a comparative report and shows the school’s performance in the three core subjects (English, Maths and Science) against National averages. The figures for the National averages are from 2010, so this is what students across the country achieved last year.
Students have already received their individual reports along with their latest Progress Reports through the post although these are also available to view via our parental gateway.
If you have any further questions or want any further details then please contact Mr Michaels at the school on 01274 492341.
