Olympic Art Event

On Monday June 25th, the day following the Olympic torch passing through Bradford, it is planned that every school in the district will have painted a bed sheet which will fit together as a giant piece of art laid on the pitch at Grattan Stadium, Odsal Top.

Photographs will be taken of the finished piece from a plane above and a skydiver will land on it!

Our school has been given its bed sheet and details of the design that is to be painted on it. We are now looking for volunteers to paint it, so if you are interested please let the art department know.

Responsibility

You are responsible for your learning,

Ask if you do not understand.

Complete homework.

Talk to others about your work.

----------------------------------------------

The Values are

respect – fair play; knowing one’s own limits; and taking care of one’s health and the environment
excellence – how to give the best of oneself, on the field of play or in life; taking part; and progressing according to one’s own objectives
friendship – how, through sport, to understand each other despite any differences
